Urzeit - Anmoksha (Cassette, Album)

 · Back in August Gilead Media released Yodh by Mizmor. That blackened doom mindfuck was the work of the man known as A.L.N.. He's also a member of the equally excellent Urzeit; whose debut, Anmoksha takes a different approach to black metal but with the same devastating effects. Rather than soaking the listener in despair, misery, etc. Urzeit gathers up a fury and thrusts it forth under .

 · Anmoksha is an album conceptually rooted in the Hindu idea of moksha: the escape from the karmic cycle of death and rebirth. Anmoksha, or without moksha, would then be the feeling of never being at peace, stuck in an infinite repeating loop .

 · Urzeit by Urzeit, released 07 December 1. Erdboden Gleichmachen 2. Entmannen 3. Albtraum Written and recorded in June of Released 12/7/13 on cassette tape by Psychic Violence Records.

 · “Anmoksha” is the ideal vessel for absorbing one’s negative opinions about oneself and either understanding them or letting them fester. This record feels like it’s paying its debt to the idea of lack of peace and rest in every ounce of the music, making for an experience that isn’t just another metal album, but also a sobering examination of life and purpose.

 · Although not a Vrasubatlat release, Urzeit remains closely tied to our circle based on its shared members with the many projects under the VT banner. Because of this, we are happy to announce that the debut LP of Urzeit Anmoksha is now available for pre-order on vinyl, cassette, and digital formats from the band but being sold on the Vrasubatlat webstore.
