 · Though I was familiar with Nashville-born, New York City-based singer Laura Cantrell mainly through her association with They Might Be Giants -- she sang on their single "The Guitar" and appeared in the video, plus she released her debut EP through John Flansburgh's Hello CD-of-the-Month Club subscription service () -- I didn't really become a fan until her fourth album, 's /5(38).
